In east central Minnesota, Dakota and Scott. In south central Minnesota, Le Sueur, Nicollet and Rice. In southeast Minnesota, Goodhue. * WHEN...Until 1000 PM CDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 138 PM CDT, Thunderstorms over the weekend led to 3 to 5 inches of rainfall over the region. Local flooding is occurring in the warned area. - Flooding impacts will continue, but only light additional rainfall is expected through the warning period. More thunderstorms are in the forecast for late Tuesday, which will bear watching. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
