Urban areas may receive more significant flooding and property damage due to rapid runoff. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Heavy rain and thunderstorms will continue into this evening as an upper-level low advances through the area. You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

Flood Advisory issued May 11 at 3:51PM HST until May 11 at 5:45PM HST by NWS Honolulu HI * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...The island of Oahu in Honolulu County. * WHEN...Until 545 PM HST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding on roads, poor drainage areas, and in streams. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 348 PM HST, radar indicated heavy rain over leeward Oahu. Rapid rises have been observed in the Makaha and Kaupuni Streams. Rain was falling at a rate of 1 to 2.5 inches per hour. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Honolulu, Waipio, Wheeler Field, Kunia, Mililani, Schofield Barracks, Waikele, Wahiawa, Waipahu, Makakilo, Pearl City, Nanakuli, Kapolei, Ewa Beach, Waianae, Aiea, Iroquois Point, Waialua, Halawa and Barbers Point. Stay away from streams, drainage ditches and low lying areas prone to flooding.
