Severe frosts with temperatures down to -4 degrees which can cause significant crop damage are forecast for Thursday morning in parts of the West and South Gippsland and East Gippsland forecast districts. Frost Warning Temperatures at ground level can be many degrees lower than those recorded by standard weather stations, especially in calm conditions with very clear skies.
