Movement was northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Penny size hail and heavy rainfall of one to two inches is possible with these storms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Ponding of water on roadways, low visibilities, and rises in small streams and creeks. Locations impacted include... Newton, Altoona, Pella, Grinnell, Knoxville, Montezuma, Mitchellville, Colfax, Monroe, Pleasantville, Prairie City, Brooklyn, New Sharon, Iowa Speedway, Knoxville Raceway, Lake Red Rock, Rock Creek Lake, Victor, Sully, and Kellogg. This includes Interstate 80 near mile marker 144, and between mile markers 146 and 204. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
